Surfin’ Santa Arrives at Seaport Village PDF Print E-mail

Saturday
November 26, 2011

This year, Santa visits San Diego in true Southern California style. He'll arrive by pirate ship, courtesy of the Maritime Museum, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, in front of the Pier Café at Seaport Village. Sporting his board shorts and flip flops, Santa will be available until 5 p.m. to pose for free photos with guests.

Be sure to stay for holiday shopping, rockin’ holiday tunes, and eco ornament making with Birch Aquarium.  Fanciful balloon sculptures, the Seaport Village Historic Carousel and free face painting add to the day's fun-filled events.

Bring up to three old strands of holiday lights, along with a current SDG&E bill or California identification, to the East Gazebo from 1–5 p.m. and exchange them for an equal number of LED strands. LED lights can save 90 percent in energy costs and last longer than conventional holiday lights. The old strands that are turned in will be recycled.

Seaport Village is located downtown on San Diego Bay at Kettner Blvd. and West Harbor Drive.
